This extraordinary property is located right in the centre of the historic, almost pedestrianised old quarter in the mediaeval town of Alcudia.

Are you looking for something special in a location that can offer both urban life and the seaside, mediaeval and modern, excitement as well as peace and quiet? We are glad to present to you “Town Esglesia”, an architectural masterpiece, located in Alcudia’s oldest quarter, not far away from the Catholic church. You’ll be housed “in old stones” in two senses of the word, as this modern and tastefully finished house is both within the massive town walls as well as demonstrating historic masonry impressively employed both inside and out. Here you’ll become (old) town inhabitants wandering peacefully through the streets steeped in history and with still plenty of Mallorcan tradition to offer. You can sit in the sheltered, inner courtyard, complete with plants and access to the separate living and sleeping area, for your morning breakfast or a little nightcap. It’s worth noting that it’s best to leave the car 150 m away at the car park near the church, as it’s easy to get lost in the winding narrow streets.

Once through the front door, you can immediately collapse into soft upholstery and catch your breath after a day spent shopping, sightseeing or at the beach. The open-plan room with its high ceilings, old masonry and imposing staircase up to the first floor runs all the way to the inner courtyard on the other side and is reminiscent of an artist’s loft. It always creates an excellent first impression. From here, you can also walk into the kitchen with its arched roof (and a door to the dining area outside). It’s not only perfect for cooking, but also suitably chic for a elongated wine tasting after visiting Inca. The two cozy bedrooms on the first floor, one with antique furniture and a thoroughly regal double bed, share a shower room. Two further guests can independently be accommodated in the two-storey mini-apartment, complete with shower room (though without a kitchen), on the other side of the courtyard. Downstairs, you’ll find a sofa, and upstairs a large double bed with a chair beside the window and a long pinewood walk-in wardrobe. You can meet in the middle to eat together, though the separate houses allow for privacy and independence.

Outside area:

· Completely enclosed
· Garden: For sole use
· Not observable from the street
· Terrace

Highlights:

· Right in the historic quarter
· Separate sleeping area
· Architectural masterpiece

The Neighborhood:
Alcúdia and Pollença are two popular little towns to visit, with harbours, promenades lined with palm trees and offering a choice of beaches. Your dream holiday can come true here – both towns are just made for wandering around and getting away from it all, as well as watersport activities. Alcúdia’s historic quarter will take you off into the island’s colourful history, and Pollença’s large promenade is one of the most beautiful in Mallorca. The rugged penisula of Formentor doesn’t just draw in celebrities with its Hollywood charm, deserted bays, jagged-rock coastlines and breathtaking views. The lighthouse at Cap will show you the way! Many visitors to Alcúdia might have missed out on the Sa Bassa Blanca Musuem, which is very close by and boasts extraordinary artwork, a rose garden and Moorish facades. It’s no surprise with the two badias to the left and right concealing so many wonderful beaches…
